headquarters expansion project
a new era
Save A Life Pet Rescue has recently purchased land in Sanford, Florida and is expanding!
Our expansion plan includes the building of a facility where we can quarantine dogs coming into our rescue, and then house them prior to adoption. One of our main goals with the facility is to create a comfortable environment where all staff and volunteers are aware of dog behavior and basic dog training principles. We are aware of the many stresses an animal faces when entering an overstimulating shelter, so another goal is to minimize those affects prior to adoption.
This is a dream come true for us and we realize how large of a task this is, so we are asking for our community's help in this endeavor.
PRoject goals
- To increase the intake of dogs in need of rehoming from high-kill shelters
- Present the community with a ground-breaking facility focused on the well-being of dogs
- To provide the community with volunteer and job opportunities
- To encourage ethical dog/human interactions, with mandatory personnel training, and dog-focused temperament training

Your contribution will go directly to our headquarters project. This is a much needed expansion that will save the lives of many more dogs from abuse, abandonment, cruelty, and euthanasia.
